About Labl Farms

Agriculture designed around farmer dignity and material integrity.

Labl Farms LTD is a Kenyan agricultural operating company connecting responsible production, practical farmer services, traceable materials and market-linked rural enterprise.

Farmers connected through a service platform

Company identity

Labl Farms LTD was registered in Kenya on 2 March 2020 under registration number PVT-Y2UP53Y. It is the specialist farming and farmer-facing operating company within the Labl Group East Africa ecosystem.

The operating anchor is the six-acre Sagalla/Voi platform in Taita Taveta County. The site is intended to combine practical demonstration, farmer learning, applied research, aggregation, rural enterprise and production feedback close to where agricultural value begins.

Purpose

To make responsible agriculture a practical engine for farmer prosperity, rural enterprise and traceable materials.

Vision

A resilient East African agricultural system in which farmers, communities, nature and responsible markets share in the value created.

Mission

To operate a farmer-centred platform combining regenerative production, whole-farm resilience, extension, research, traceability, market access and responsible value addition.

Our strategic choices

  • Build service capacity before expanding farmer numbers.
  • Qualify demand before mobilising production.
  • Protect food security and whole-farm resilience.
  • Use existing qualified processors before investing in new facilities.
  • Treat traceability as a transaction-control system, not a marketing label.
  • Use measured outcomes and bounded claims.
  • Keep farmer groups, cooperatives and SACCO participation voluntary and separately governed.

2027–2030 pathway

Formal farmer operations begin on 1 January 2027. Taita Taveta and Kilifi are the initial validation counties. Expansion into additional counties is conditional on demand, agronomy, community readiness, environmental safeguards, logistics, finance, digital support, quality systems, processing and farmer benefit.
